Crimson Pear-Fennel Salad

I love the ease of this salad. It's a delight for the eye as well as the mouth!

crimson pears
olive oil
balsamic vinegar
smoked sea salt
freshly ground pepper
sliced almonds

Slice the pears and fennel. Toss with olive oil and vinegar. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve on a bed of fresh spinach leaves. Top with sliced almonds.
