This week's selection from Daniel Boulud and Dorie Greenspan's cookbook - Café Boulud Cookbook - is Lacquered Chicken with Noodle Salad You'll find this recipe on pages 234-235 of the Café Boulud Cookbook...we will not be posting the actual recipes on our blogs.
My Thoughts...
I have made chicken similar to this many times. I just never knew what it was called. I love the word 'lacquered.' I mean, look at this! It is glossy, lacquered goodness.
I added more veggies to the noodle salad, using the delicious bounty from my CSA, and substituted rice noodles since my husband is currently gluten-free.
Your chicken looks delicious - such a lovely burnished colour.

ReplyDeleteYum! We loved this recipe. I like that you added more veggies to the pasta. I will definitely do that next time too.
ReplyDeleteYour chicken turned out like mine and we thought it was delicious. As always love your photos.
ReplyDeleteWe also used a different pasta because of allergies, but came really close to the intended spirit of the dish. Such lovely flavors!
