Sweet Bell, Vanilla, & Caviar Lime Cocktail

I found a gorgeous cocktail on pinterest and decided to tweak it and make my own version because I just got a delivery of finger limes from Good Land Organics. Oh, yes! This is the perfect way to kick-off a party. Enjoy! Cin cin...

Camilla's Sweet Bell Cocktail

6 thin slices organic mini red bell pepper
6 basil leaves
2 – 2.5 oz. vodka
2 – 2.5 oz. freshly squeezed lemon juice (feel free to substitute for any citrus juice you have available)
pulp from 1 finger lime
1 t granulated honey
capful pure vanilla extract
4 oz. freshly squeezed orange juice
1 vanilla bean and 1 mini red bell pepper for garnishing

I couldn't find my shaker and muddler for this, so I used the blunt end of my molinillo in a glass measuring cup. Add the sliced peppers, basil leaves, pulp from finger lime, granulated honey, and lemon juice to the glass and muddle it together. Let it sit for a minute or two. Add the vodka and vanilla extract.

Pour into an iced glass…top it off with freshly squeezed orange juice. Enjoy! Garnish with a mini bell, skewered with a vanilla bean.
