Pumpkins and autumn go hand in hand. So, when I saw this cocktail at a bar - Jasper's Corner Tap & Kitchen - in San Francisco last night, I couldn't resist.
Papa's Pilar Dark Rum, Cio Cara Amaro, P/X Sherry, maple pumpkin butter, egg, and pumpkin ale
Pumpkins galore deliciousness. While I loved it, this morning I was reminded why I don't drink rum! A bunch of water and two advil later, I can still say that I enjoyed the drink. But rum is verboten. I might have to create a pumpkin cocktail of my own...without the rum.
