I started with beet-infused syrups, added 1/2 C maple syrup, and used that as a base for some yummy bubbly cocktails. One thing that says celebration to me: Italian bubbles, in the form of prosecco. We added a tablespoon of syrup to a glass and topped it off with prosecco.
The red beet syrup seemed sweeter while the golden beet syrup was definitely earthier. Both were delicious. Cin cin!
