The warm weather and a great deal on wild coho salmon at WholeFoods yesterday prompted a barbeque feast, I sliced open the fish, rubbed it with minced garlic, placed slices of fresh lime inside, and gave it to Jake who tossed it on the grill with fresh rosemary sprigs smoldering beneath it.
When it was done, I topped it with a quick, chunky Meyer lemon salsa, using up more of the fruits from my CSA box this week.

chopped red plums
chopped tomatoes
a splash of ginger syrup
a dash of pink Himalaya salt
