Tonka Beans, Bee Pollen, Elderberry Flowers and Dulse

I decided I needed some retail therapy this afternoon. My usual indulgence: food stuffs.

So, I logged on to the Monterey Bay Spice Company, excited to use my groupon from a few weeks ago, I clicked and perused, finally settling on some less frequently seen herbs and spices.

Look for recipes and retellings of my culinary experiments soon. But I'm planning on making an elderberry flower liqueur and tonka bean spice snap cookies...so far. We'll see how culinary inspiration strikes.
