Pumpkin Barbeque Sauce

1/4 C pumpkin puree (click here for how to make pumpkin puree)
1 T fresh garlic, minced
3/4 C ginger syrup
2 T raw honey
1/2 C ketchup (here's my kitchen elves' homemade version)
1/2 C chicken stock
1/2 t smoked paprika
freshly ground sea salt
freshly ground pepper

Combine all of the ingredients in a medium saucepan and simmer until it has reached the consistency that you want. Mine took between 5-10 minutes.
