GRATITUDE, GIMMELS, DRUMSTICKS, DREIDELS, LOVE, AND LATKES
Thanksgivukkah - no, I didn't make that up! Click here to read a post on Quirk Books about it - is the convergence of the American holiday of
Thanksgiving and the first day of the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah on Thursday,
November 28, 2013. It is a result of a rare kink between the luni-solar Hebrew
calendar and the Gregorian calendar. The last time it happened was 125 years
ago, in 1888. The next time Thursday, November 28th will fall during
Hanukkah will be in the year 79811…assuming that the Jewish calendar is not
revised, according to one quantum physicist.
Here's my menu...can't wait to get cooking!
What an incredible menu! Your guests are so, so lucky! Happy Thanksgivukkah!
