I am one of thirteen bloggers who has received two copies of the Rinku Bhattacharya's new cookbook The Bengali Five Spice Chronicles from Hippocrene Books. They are on the way. I can't wait to get started!

One copy I'll be cooking from and writing a review on; the other copy is up for grabs. So, here I go with my very first giveaway.

    My favorite spice, which is actually a blend is Za'atar. I love it on fish or in salad dressing or mixed into couscous.
