On 4th of July, we were invited to a Pig Roast on the Beach. Someone had given me a bottle of 2013 Laetitia Estate Pinot Noir, so I brought it along.
Some Notes...
Arroyo Grande Valley appellation is just south of us in San Luis Obispo. So - kinda local.

These were harvested in Fall of 2013 and resulted in 32,000 cases. The wine was aged for 11 months in a combination
of François Frères and Rousseau French oak barrels, with 30% new oak.
Tasting Notes...
This was a very approachable wine with notes of rich berries followed by a subtle spice. It paired nicely with this picnic of roasted pig and an assortment of salads. I will definitely seek out another bottle of this wine. And thanks, again, to which ever friend left it at my house!
