We are just in the door from twenty-four hours in transit. We left our hotel in Copenhagen at 4 o'clock in the morning (Denmark time) and pulled into our driveway here on California's central coast at 7 o'clock in the evening (Pacific time). So, it will take me some time to get my head out of a fog and post some photos and recipes.
But after our twenty-four hours en route on our way to Denmark, we walked into our friends' home to a birthday celebration for D. So grateful. He took losing nine hours of his birthday - to the time shift - in stride. But he was very excited about this dinner and dessert.
Flødeboller are Danish mallow fluff treats. I didn't get a recipe for them, but Stella has made them with her cooking class. The girls had gotten chocolate painted and coconut dusted ones for D and decorated them with candles and Danish flags.
Tillykke med fødselsdagen!
