Spice Store Field Trip

While the big kids were at Splash!, we took D on an adventure of his own: a trip to a spice store. He was so excited. Remember, he was a spice rack for Halloween.

He took his time, looking at every single display, reading labels, and selecting some jarred spices for our culinary adventures.


The cashier was so impressed with his choices that she took some time to show him mace - still attached to the nutmeg.


We ended up with fenugreek, green peppercorns, real cinnamon, ajwan seeds, mace, and more. Can't wait to get cooking with our loot from Penzey's.

    I am jealous. I shop Penzy's all the time but by catalog. I wish we had a store close to us.
