Bella Luna Blue Boba Milk Tea #Sponsored

This post is sponsored  by Adagio Teas .  I received complimentary product for the purpose of review . All opinions are mine alone.   I received a care package from my contact at  Adagio Teas ,* and was excited to receive a limited release herbal tea called Bella Luna Blue . Only available during a blue moon, this is on their website right now; it will not be available again until August 2023. I'll talk more about it, but the color is stunning and the flavor is beguiling. Bella Luna Blue This is a blend of lemongrass, blueberry flavor, and blue butterfly pea flowers. It's that latter ingredient that gives this tisane its brilliant blue hue. Blue butterfly pea flower is not only brightly colored, but it changes color when pH changes. You can see that in this post: Color-Changing Nam Dok Anchan (Butterfly Pea Flower Lemonade) ; and it always makes me feel a little bit like a culinary magician or a kitchen witch! I toyed with different recipe ideas for this herbal tea a...

Here we are in March with the monthly post for the baking group called Bundt Bakers. #BundtBakers is a group of Bundt loving bakers who get together once a month to bake Bundts with a common ingredient or theme. Mysterious Masala Chai #SipbySip #Sponsored

This post is sponsored in conjunction with #SipbySip. I received product samples from sponsor companies to aid in the creation of the  #SipbySip  recipes.  All opinions are mine alone. When I received a care package from  The Republic of Tea * - with their new The Mandolorian teas - I knew that I would eventually get around to making a masala chai with the   Star Wars: The Mandalorian - Mysterious Black Tea   which is made up of b lack tea from Kenya, South India, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, and Darjeeling.  Masala Chai is a family favorite and it's super simple. But I did want to point out a couple of things because words matter and I try to be as precise as I can. Chai means 'tea'. Masala means 'spiced'. So this is just spiced tea. If you go to one of those corporate coffee chains and see 'Chai Tea', you can just give a little chuckle that they are offering Tea Tea. Ingredients serves 3 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg ...

Warrior Herb Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies #SipbySip #Sponsored

This post is sponsored in conjunction with #SipbySip. I received product samples from sponsor companies to aid in the creation of the  #SipbySip  recipes.  All opinions are mine alone. Recently I posted photos of my oatmeal raisin cookies and received all sorts of comments from friends and family. And those helped me create this recipe. First, a friend mentioned that she added tea to her oatmeal raisin cookies. Second, several friends engaged in some raisin-shaming, suggesting that chocolate chips were a better addition to oatmeal cookies than dried up grapes. Okay. Fine. I'm on board with chocolate chip cookies anytime! I circled back to my friend who mentioned the teas and she said she adds the contents for a few tea bags. I just happened to have received a care package from The Republic of Tea * and read the labels to see which might be a nice flavor complement to oatmeal-chocolate chip cookies. You'll see other other two teas in different creations, but for the...
