Jamaican Jerk Chicken Wings with Crispy Skins #CulinaryCam #Sponsored

 This page contains affiliate links , h owever, all opinions expressed here are my own.   I have made a lot of different chicken wing recipes. In fact, I've even won recipe contests with my chicken wings. But to post my bake-in-the-oven process on our  CulinaryCam YouTube channel , I made some Jamaican Jerk Chicken Wings. It was a hit!  I was inspired by a Jamaican Jerk seasoning that I ordered from the Raw Spice Bar ( on their website ). Click to watch the video here ! Ingredients  serves 4 3 pounds chicken wings, separated into drumettes and wings (tips saved for stock or discarded) 2 Tablespoons spice (I used the  Jamaican Jerk Seasoning from Raw Spice Bar ) 1/4 cup olive oil (I used the Triple A from The Quail & Olive*) freshly ground salt, if needed freshly ground pepper, if needed Also needed: baking sheet, parchment paper For serving (optional):dipping sauce, celery sticks, other veggies Procedure Preheat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Spanish Basque Nibbles for a French Wine Group Assignment - Whoops!

When I looked at the list of 2019 topics for the French Winophiles, I was excited to see French Basque as a topic. I fixated on the 'Basque' part of that because I love that area and completely blitzed on the 'French' part when I went to buy the wine. I picked up wine from the Spanish part of Basque country and, then, went even further and selected recipes from the Spanish part as well. Whoops. Since I needed a do-over with wines from the correct part of the Basque region and a geographically appropriate menu, for August's Winophiles, I decided to share the Spanish bites and sips we had now. Early. I served Papas Bravas (previous recipe here ) which are a family favorite. Then I tried a few different pintxos , small finger foods served at bars and taverns throughout the Basque Country. Bear in mind that both are my interpretations, so not traditional. Ganba Brotxeta serves four with 2 skewers each Ingredients 1 sweet bell pepper, cored and ...

#10DaysofTailgate: Ketchup & Mustard Glazed Meatballs

A couple of years ago, we discovered 'mustard grilled' burgers on In'N'Out's secret menu. Not being in the In'N'Out's kitchen, I can only guess as to what they do with the mustard. But I guessed that it probably had to do with brushing the meat with mustard while it cooked. Whatever they do, it adds something amazing to an already good burger. So, for today's #10DaysofTailgate post, I bring you: mustard and ketchup glazed meatballs. Jalapeño Mustard and Date Ketchup. Yep, these are fancy. Mustard and ketchup are integral part of a tailgate party and I love that El Diablo Hot & Spicy Mustard and Not Ketchup got into the game by sponsoring our event.* Thank you!! Ingredients 1 lb ground beef 1 lb ground pork 1 onion, peeled and diced 1 T  Not Ketchup 's Smoky Date + more for brushing on while cooking 1 T  El Diablo Hot & Spicy Mustard 's  Jalapeno  + more for brushing on while cooking freshly ground sea salt...

Sweet Potato Canapés for The Hundred-Foot Journey {From Page to Plate}

I read avidly, mostly about food, and I cook all the time. I mean, a girl has to eat, right? So, I decided that if a book inspires me to get into the kitchen, I'll feature it in a series I'm calling - From Page to Plate.  I already take part in a bi-monthly foodie book group called  Cook the Books , but this is more fast, loose, and completely subject to my own whims. Here we go... The Hundred-Foot Journey by Richard C. Morais was on a list of books that are being translated to the big screen this year. I mentioned it to a few girlfriends as soon as I saw the list, then I suggested it as a book club read for several moms at school. So, it's pulling multiple duties this year. And it happened to be at the top of the book heap on the side of my bed when I finished reading Twain's Feast . Page Notes: The novel follows the footsteps of its narrator, Hassan Haji - from the slums of Mumbai to the zenith of Parisian haute cuisine . Don't be fooled by the title; h...
