A couple of years ago a friend of mine had a baby and I whipped up a batch of Lactation Cookies for her. She just had Baby v.2; so I decided to make Lactation Cookies v.2. Just delivered them this evening. Hope she likes them. "Mom, may I try a cookie?" They're lactation cookies. "What's lactation?" Lactation is how moms feed their babies milk. "Wait...what do the cookies do?" They help moms produce more milk for the baby...at least that's the theory. Do you want to try one? "No, I don't want to lactate." Okay, more for her.
