This is a sponsored post written by me in conjunction with a virtual wine tasting event hosted by  Snooth for Lodi Wines.  Wine samples were provided for this post and this page may contain affiliate links. When I received an email from a contact at Snooth about taking part in a virtual wine tasting of wines from Lodi, I was excited. Lodi is one of those wine areas that I know I should have visited, being in the same state and all, but I haven't. It's on my list! I promise... The tasting consisted of six wines from Lodi. The tasting and discussion order was: Acquiesce Winery & Vineyards 2018 Ingénue m2 Wines 2018 Vermentino Lange Twins Winery & Vineyards 2018 Aglianico  Rosé Mettler Family Vineyards 2016 Pinotage PRIE Winery 2016 Ancient Vine (1900), Block 4 Spenker Ranch Carignane Michael David Winery 2016 Ink Blot Cabernet Franc In preparation, I did some recipe testing on my own. Abalone Po' Boy #OurFamilyTable

Today the From Our Dinner Table blogging group members are sharing seafood recipes. Hosts Christie from A Kitchen Hoor's Adventures and Heather of Hezzi-D's Books and Cooks wrote, "Are you crazy for crabs? Addicted to Ahi? This event is for you! Whether you do a Fish Friday or give up meat for Lent we could all use a little more recipes from the sea." As residents of a seaside town and members of a community-supported fishery, seafood is common on our table. I am always happy to add new seafood recipes for my rotation. Miyagi Oysters with Pomegranate Mignonette #FishFridayFoodies

It's time for Fish Friday Foodies' February event. We are a group of seafood-loving bloggers, rallied by Wendy of  A Day in the Life on the Farm , to   share fish and seafood recipes on the third Friday of the month. This is, easily, my favorite recipe sharing event of the month. I always come away with a list of recipes that I just have to try! And this month, I am  hosting. And you might, rightly, have noticed that this is only the second Friday of the month. You are right. We decided to push the date up a week so that people might be inspired for Valentines' Day though these dishes would be great for any date night in. Here was my challenge to the group for and event I themed 'Quite the Catch!': You can always celebrate love and romance...any day of the year. So, please share your favorite seafood dishes for you and your sweetheart and inspire the rest of us! On the Hook Braised Cod Peperonata for Two by Karen at Karen's Kitchen Stories Currie...

Oven Baked Taquitos à la Chef Sarah Elizabeth #FoodBloggerLove

Today I'm harkening back to the days of the Secret Recipe Club with a blog swap called #FoodBloggerLove coordinated by Allison of The PinterTest Kitchen . And I was excited to receive the blog of  Chef Sarah Elizabeth . Our paths have crossed before in different events such as Food'N'Flix, but I was thrilled to be able to explore her posts in more depth. Chef Sarah Elizabeth is actually a chef - classically trained, not like many of us home cooks turned food bloggers - as well as a food stylist and photographer based in Orange County, California.  She has a series on her blog called the ' Family Dinner Book Club ' where she creates a menu, based on a book, that children can help prepare. I love that focus of getting kids into the kitchen. She's a woman after my own heart there. Find Chef Sara Elizabeth: on the web , on Facebook , on Pinterest , on Instagram , and on Twitter .  Her Bitter Astronaut Cocktail made me chuckle and I almost whipped...
